This painting is based on my pencil drawing. I referenced several photographs, which I snapped, on May 22, 2014. 

The Ukrainian people / heroes resisting during this immoral war currently going on are in my thoughts and prayers. 

I pray for Peace & Freedom for Ukraine. They are fighting for their good way of life, liberty and freedom.

My paternal Jewish ancestors were forced to leave Odessa, Ukraine, in the 1890's, as they were persecuted for their religious beliefs. 

I stand with The Ukrainian people during this time of conflict.
