"Holly And Roses", 24" x 18", oil on linen.

My Landscape painting is based on my under-painting drawing. I referenced several photographs, which I had snapped on April 16, 2021.

This was a crystal clear Spring day, we had a wonderful walk on your way to the Dike Trail, at Iverson, Island County Park. When we came upon these lovely wild Holly and Roses. I had never really noticed the stunningly beautiful yellow Holly flowers in full bloom. Amazingly, all the wild Roses were in full bloom at the same time.

We were overwhelmed by all the wild natural floral beauty, which we observed during the Spring bloom at Iverson Park, on Camano Island, Washington.

I completed my painting on January 17, 2022.
